FALL TRAINING DATES/TRYOUT DATES
Fall Training at Chappapeela starting in October. 4 Sundays with the last one being tryouts on 10/27/24 for 10U-14U. MARK your calendar and registration will be open shortly.
15U-18U tryouts after HS State Championships in November.
Why choose MAVERICKS and LAJuniors Volleyball?
Here are my thoughts:
1. We love our players and families.
2. We hire and train excellent coaches. Attend yearly clinics with AOC to be better for our players on and off the court.
3. We attend good competition giving the teams the opportunity to grow, be challenged, and not travel across the country.
4. Teams that stay together will GROW together and trust one another more each year to become stronger. Jumping to another club with 12-14 players because of the name, isn't always the smartest move.
5. We have good relationships with our gyms in St Tammany and Tangipahoa Parishes.
6. We offer LAJunior ACADEMY year round for players needing more help on certain skills each Sunday. Or for players not wanting to be on a club team during the season.
Please note, there will continue to be more pop up clubs this upcoming season and we hope you stay with MAVERICKS and LAJuniors Academy. Fall training starts in September for 10-14U! Tryouts in October and November. The USAV age for a player is how old she will be by 7/1/25, not necessary how old she is now.

Register for the LAJR'S Academy MONTHLY PROGRAM
Christ Episcopal School in Diboll Gym on Sundays. FIRST TIME VISIT IS $15 FOR HOUR CLASS AND $20 PER 90 MINUTE CLASS. 4TH-6TH GRADE BEGINNERS 5:30-6:30 Ages 13-16 6:30-8:00 PM 14 players per COURT. If you're not on the monthly program and want to utilize the drop in rate, contact Tammy to make sure there's room. Drop in rates for hour class is $22 or $40 for the 90 minute class. AES
Advance Event Systems is the one stop site to look at tournament schedules during season. Tounaments use AES for AAU & USAV events and typically up three days prior to the start of a tournament. FYI Schedules do change, so always double check prior to the start of a tournament.

MAVERICKS Volleyball and Louisiana Juniors Academy
MAVERICKS Volleyball is thrilled to bring up top athletes on the Northshore with the love of volleyball and higher level competition. Our top coaches will strive to provide excellent training at practices and at tournaments.
We equip players on skill, being a team player, and doing their best on and off the court. This 2024 club season from October-March or April and into May and June for our top level teams. We'll have 10U-16U teams in surrounding parishes practicing out of Chappapeela and in the Covington/Mandeville area.
If your player is new to volleyball, Louisiana Juniors Academy (monthly program) might be the way to go or even be on the Local or State Level Teams with a shorter tournament schedule.
